FROM0

Start from zero. Build something real.

A global 30-day builder cohort for people turning an idea into something real.

Open worldwide. You do not need to live in Pakistan or belong to Furqan's community to apply.

The program

Thirty days to make something usable.

Apply with an idea, prototype, pre-launch product, or very early release. Selected builders spend 30 focused days making it useful to another person.

Solo builders and small teams can apply from anywhere. No pitch deck is required.

Applications are assessed before finalists are published. Each authenticated voter gets one vote. Sharing helps a project reach more people, but it never changes the weight of a vote.

Global eligibility

Cohort 01 is open to the world.

Furqan and his community are collaborators on Cohort 01. Applicants do not need to be in Pakistan or be members of that community.

What you can build

Technology people can use.

  • AI products
  • SaaS
  • Developer tools
  • Mobile, desktop, and web apps
  • Consumer software
  • Open-source projects
  • Useful automations
  • Community products
  • Other legitimate technology products the organizers deem suitable

The month

Four focused weeks.

Weekly public updates record what shipped, what broke, what was learned, and what comes next. The framework creates accountability without prescribing what to build.

Week 1

Define

Scope the smallest product worth shipping and define a measurable Day-30 outcome.

Week 2

Build

Get the core experience functioning from beginning to end.

Week 3

Users

Put it in front of real people, gather feedback, and fix what matters.

Week 4

Ship

Launch a usable product, tighten onboarding and analytics, and present the result.

Program support

Practical support. Builder ownership.

Selected builders may receive discretionary non-dilutive support from the organizers. This can include infrastructure, software, API usage, technical resources, services, promotional support, or other build expenses where appropriate. The type and level of support, if any, is determined case by case and is not guaranteed.

  • Product strategy and scoping
  • Technical architecture and debugging
  • AI, model, and provider guidance
  • Infrastructure and deployment help
  • API, software, and tooling support where appropriate
  • Design, brand, and landing-page feedback
  • Pricing and launch strategy
  • User-testing feedback
  • Relevant startup credits and resources
  • Distribution through FROM0, collaborator, and partner channels where appropriate
  • A private project war room during the program
  • A public build log and Demo Day exposure

The ownership principle

You keep what you build.

Your company, code, intellectual property, and future stay yours.

  • No equity is required.
  • Participants keep full ownership of their company, code, and intellectual property.
  • No exclusivity is required.
  • Participation does not create an investment, employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
  • Any later investment, partnership, or incubation discussion is optional and separately negotiated.
  • Support is non-dilutive unless a participant later agrees to a different arrangement outside the competition.
